While studying abroad, Les met his future wife, Jeannette Merrill, the daughter of a C.I.A. operative. Despite shepherding TICC and TICC West for twenty-five years, he still finds time for other pursuits. When he's not beating on his cast with padded swords or scripts (sometimes simultaneously) he leads the action-packed life of an I.T. Manager.

Les' roles have included such commanding performances as Captain Maxwell Smart in Smart Trek, Captain James Kirk in ConTrek IV: The Con Back Home, Commander Edmund Blackadder in Deep Spaced Blackadder, and Captain Anheiser Sheridan in BabbleCon V: The Fall of Prohibition. He has also shown his sensitive side in such roles as Riff Raff in The Sciffy Horror Picture Show and as director Eli Cross in TICC'd Off. His next role will be as Hugo Gernsback Jobs in Fhannish Treasure.

Outside of TICC Les starred as Kayser in the independent film, Silverwings and directed the theater performance "Raising Elvis -- A Spirit Theater Experience." He has served as stage manager for the Hugo Awards, Costume-Con, and Archon. As a costumer, Les has been part of award winning costumes at WorldCon and Archon. [member 1980 - present]
